The Green Deal is a Government-sponsored scheme that aims to drastically improve the Energy Efficiency of the UK’s existing housing stock, which is some of the leakiest and least efficient in Europe. RenderRight are a Green Deal Approved Installer for External Wall Insulation (EWI) and Internal Wall Insulation (IWI), covering the whole of the UK.

Via the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund (GDHIF) you can access cashback for installing External Wall Insulation or Internal Wall Insulation on your solid wall property, to cover up to 75% of the total cost of the installation. We are also able to assist in arranging a pay-as-you-save Green Deal Plan to cover any shortfalls in the installation cost if necessary.

RenderRight have access to ECO funding, which could mean that EWI is installed on your property at absolutely no cost to yourself and with nothing to pay back.

Improve your home for FREE and save up to £500 per year as well

Installing an External Wall Insulation system on your solid wall property will save you up to £500 per year on your energy bills and improve its look and value too! All our work comes with a 25 year guarantee.

ECO grants are now available from RenderRight, which could cover up to 100% of the installation cost of External Wall Insulation and with nothing to repay. Alternatively, you can choose to pay for any installation privately or to take out a Green Deal Plan to cover the cost of your install (which is repaid via the savings you make on your energy bills). In both cases you’ll receive up to £6000 cashback from the Government’s new Green Deal Home Improvement Fund. This is likely to cover the majority of the installation cost.

ECO funding is provided by the UK’s energy companies to help improve household energy conservation and reduce fuel bills for both homeowners and tenants.

RenderRight are a leading Green Deal Approved insulation installer. We can access ECO and GDHIF funding on your behalf, offer impartial energy-saving advice, and have a team of fully-qualified and regulated installers ready to upgrade your home.

How does the Green Deal work?

The Green Deal is available to both homeowners and private tenants throughout the UK. All homes are eligible, as long as they have an electricity meter. The first step is to arrange a Green Deal Assessment of the property, which will identify how energy efficient or otherwise the dwelling is and will make recommendations as to energy efficiency measures that can be installed to improve this. Customers can access Green Deal finance to cover the cost of installing the recommended measures, as long as those measures will be covered by the value of the savings that installing them will make, across their lifetime.

Some of our customers have chosen to use Green Deal and/or ECO grant funding alongside their own investment – for example, where they want us to carry out additional work to their property that will not create savings in their energy bills, but will improve its look, feel and value.

The following steps are involved:

1 – Get a Green Deal Advice Report
An independent Green Deal Advisor will visit your property and help you to decide if the Green Deal is right for you, along with recommending energy efficiency measures if it is.

2 – Energy Performance Certificate and Occupancy Assessment
Within 1-2 days you will receive a full Green Deal Assessment pack which will show the recommendations for your property and how much you can expect to save on your energy bills.

3 – Receive quotes for Green Deal finance
We can then assist you in receiving quotes for finance based on your Green Deal Advice Report. You are free to approach any Green Deal Provider for finance quotations. You don’t have to take out a Green Deal Plan – you can also choose to finance the installation yourself or using a ‘green’ finance package from certain banks or credit unions.

4 – Installation
The Green Deal Provider will then arrange with us for your energy efficiency measures to be installed by one of our teams. All our work is quality assured and carries a 25 year warranty.

5 – Feel the benefit, and claim your Green Deal cashback (if applicable)
Once your project is complete you can enjoy a more efficient and comfortable home. Your energy bills will have gone down and your repayments will be automatically taken from the savings you’ve made. Under the Green Deal Cashback Scheme, you’ll also be able to claim a cash payment as a ‘thank you’. This is between £1500 and £6000 for External Wall Insulation and will be paid directly to you within 30 days of the work being completed.

To get started, fill out our simple Quick Quote form, in order to arrange for a Green Deal Assessment to be carried out on your home. A member of our team will be back in touch with you within 24 hours. If you already have a Green Deal Advice Report and are looking to receive a quote from a trustworthy installer, then please contact us now or e-mail a copy of your Green Deal Report to info@renderright.co.uk.
